SCape CO/CBRN30 APR

The SCape CO/CBRN30 NIOSH-approved Air Purifying Escape Respirator (APER) is developed with military-grade filter canisters to provide protection against traditional military agents as well as toxic industrial materials (TIMs) such as chlorine and ammonia. The integrated HEPA filter provides biological, radiological, and particulate protection. The SCape CO/CBRN30 system can be worn by people with eyeglasses and/or beards and eliminates many of the issues associated with traditional gas masks. The integral blower initiates automatically when removed from its package, thereby providing trusted protection to the wearer.

Description

Protection factor testing was conducted by the U.S. Army and completed in accordance with NIOSH Laboratory Respiration Protection Level (LRPL) test protocol at the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center in Edgewood, MD. Results demonstrate that the SCape CO/CBRN30 provides extremely high levels of protection.

NIOSH-approved as a 30-minute General Category Escape Mask under the standard for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Air-Purifying Escape Respirators (Sept. 30, 2003). NIOSH Approval Number TC-14G-0277.
